Born to creative parents, and attending art school in the early 80s Jennifer Binnie expanded beyond the bounds of painting into the areas of performance, film and sculpture.

Binnie moved to London in the early 80’s with her then partner, Grayson Perry and sister Christine Binnie, developing her painting alongside performance activities with the Neo-naturists, the performance art/cabaret group to which she was a central part along with Wilma Johnson.
