Carolyn has been working with the theme of Hope/ Pandora Re-Visited over a period of months as we gradually emerged from the Pandemic, revisiting the ancient myth of Pandora. What’s not remembered very often is that she managed to preserve hope for humanity even after catastrophic flurries of darkness and despair had escaped into the world. In tribute to Pandora’s spirit I chose to focus on her transformative attributes rather than on her tarnished reputation, shaped over time by a patriarchal culture.
