Eleonas is one in a series of prints linda have been creating over the past year. Eleonas is Greek for olive grove. On the island of Aegina where some of her family live there is an ancient orchard on a secluded plateau. The trees are thought to be up to 3000 years old, outdating the Acropolis! Olive trees are thought to be amongst the oldest on the planet. They can withstand drought, disease and fire.
