This exciting programme, commissioned by Cannock Chase District Council, is a pioneering, community lead, programme to transform the whole area towards a greener, fairer, wiser future.

This programme is putting schools, colleges and universities at its heart.

In January and February this year, The Great Imagining team have been visiting sixteen schools across the district where we have been leading whole school assemblies, running class workshops and speaking to dozens of teachers.

This is the first phase of a long term programme which aims to reduce the carbon footprint of the district, increase empathy with nature and the biodiversity of the whole region as well as encourage resilient community networks and active collaboration.

This programme is in partnership with schools, universities, colleges, community groups, networks and businesses, as well Staffordshire-wide initiatives such as the Staffordshire COP.
