The curatorial policy for this symposium is to invite a mix of panelists from the following areas :

* Experts who have academic knowledge in the field/topic.
* People who are really passionate about the field/topic.
* People who have a Lived Experience of the field/topic.

This Action Research Symposium will bring together speakers and audience from diverse areas of expert-ise, interests and life experiences with the aim of :
​
* Generating inspiring conversations, learning and creating
a space for intergenerational conversations.
* To start the process of developing content and ideas for The Great Imagining syllabus and curriculum.
* Expanding TGI's community of collaborators and partners to build the coalition and funding for this programme.

These are the provocations/questions that we are are inviting the speakers to address in whatever way feels most relevant and exciting to them in their short introduction :

* What are the latest developments in your industry/topic?
* How did we get here (can you give a brief outline/history/ or information about previous discussions surrounding this topic/subject that you feel are relevant)?
* Where do you think we’re heading if we don’t transform this industry / topic?
* Where would you love to see this area/ industry /subject/ etc. going in the future?
* How can we get students and young people excited about this future and make it relevant to them?

There are now nearly 8 billion people on the planet this number has more than doubled in a single lifetime. We are having a huge impact on our world and as we can see all around us - as the 2020 global pandemic introduces us to a Strange New world our future on this planet looks increasingly in jeopardy. So the conversations during this symposium are a chance to reflect and have some visions for a greener, fairer, kinder future.
